Since I was a child, I used to go to the markets. Mostly with my dad, as he found some kind of passion it this activity. Does no mater if I remember the simple markets in Bratislava in the early 80ties, the beautiful markets in Germany and France we used to visit every time on our way to Africa, or the wild, sense full markets full of colors and feasts in Biskra  - my home town for more than 5 years in south Algeria. This memories and pictures are deep in my heart since now. And maybe there fore a look forward for every occasion - to visit an event which looks like market. To one of this belongs my bellowed Dobry Trh – which I take as a tradition already. And now in this winter days I really appreciate the market events in Stratá Tržnica. I clap my hands and cross my fingers for events like this. Fresh food, plenty of friends I haven’t seen in ages, always something new for kids, and this amazing atmosphere. If any one of you finds time, come and visit Stará Tržnica on 21st of December, I’m sure we all will feel the right Christmas in he air that day!

FEW MINUTES – AT DOBRÝ TRH....

Well, it has been just a while for this time at Dobrý Trh for meL. I don’t know why, but it has been very busy Saturday this time in my case. But I just had to find some time, to visit my favorite market. I usually come to the market place just right at the beginning – which has not been possible this time. And it has been a big difference to the markets in the past. People everywhere! Plenty of people. It has been very hard to get to the tents and to see the offers; it has been even hard to walk in the street this time. And for my person it has been real hard to capture the atmosphere. I’m not one of the tallest people, and I felt very uncomfortable in the “squash”. I love this market, love the place and love to come here. I know if I would have the whole day for it, I probably would get much more of it. Never mind – I have a reason to be happy about the Dobry trh markets coming in next season. And maybe there will be some winter market as well J……who knows!!!

DOBRÝ TRH ....#3...A VERY HOT MARKET

HOT! Such a hot day this time! But even this heat could not stop this beautiful event, which I could not miss again. Dobry Thr at Panenská street is deeply signed in to my heart. It is the space, the people, the food, the music, the rhythmus of life in this small place. And for me a pleasure!!!! Place I grew up turns in to life every time. It just makes me very happy…..enjoy this hot summer day J

HORÚCO! Bol to veľmi horúci deň tento krát! Ale ani ten neobmedzil nádhernú akciu, ktorú som si opäť nemohla nechať ujsť. Dobrý trh na Panensjek ulici za hlboko vpísal do môjho srdca.  Je to o mieste, ľuďoch, jedle, hudbe a rytmuse života na tomto malom podujatí. Je to pre mňa radosť! Miesto, kde som vyrastala pri každom trhu ožije. A to ma robí nesmierne šťastnou.......prajem ti krásny letný deň J

Flip flops or rain boots?  – that was main question the whole Friday. Warnings have been send out everywhere – TV, internet, news papers – RAINY SATURDAY!!!! Well, I took the right decision – flip flops! Saturdays Dobrý Trh market was marvelous. I actually don’t know, why I got only one of those tasty macrons (lemon flavor – my favorite)…..it has been a heaven for my eyes and my camera. Šľapky alebo gumáky? To bola moja otázka dňa, celý piatok. Zo všetkých strán nás strašili – televízia, internet a noviny – SOBOTA DÁŽĎ!!!! Ale ja som sa správne rozhodla – šľapky! Sobotňajší  Dobrý Trh bol neuveriteľný. Akurát netuším, prečo som si kúpila iba jednu z tých skvelých makrónike (citrónovú – moju najobľúbenejšiu). Bola to pastva pre moje oči a môj fotoaparát. Zas som spravila kvantum fotiek – nedalo sa mi inak – toľko veľa vecí ma zaujalo. Toto je „pár“ fotografii zo včera......ak máš chuť, viac ich nájdeš na mojom FB profile J.
