IT BECOMES TRADITION

Simple joy. That is my feeling after each visit at Stará Tržnica. The concept of market events is so easy but so powerful. Finding good food, chilled people and happy kids at one place gives me so much of the positive energy. As I wrote so many times in the past, visiting markets used to be our hobby I shared with my dad. Now after years, being a mom of three precious girls, I do appreciate events like this even more. This little fingers touching fresh groceries, testing all kinds of freshly made meals, they smiles while playing in the kid’s corner, this all just shows that we are at the right place. And the question “Mom, will we come next time again?” just proves the fact………..to visit the market BECOMES TRADITION….

I have to admit – I had something against the Apple family for a long time. Then few months ago, I decided to buy I Pad (really useful for work and traveling). But still I tried to resist to I phones. By the end of year my old Nokia switched on for the last time …..I have changed this phone for a new one – Nokia smart phone – as there is no way you may get a normal phone these days without touch screenJ. After only few weeks I had to fight with this “crap” phone of mine (it started to freeze, turn of, was not able to switch it on for hours….and plenty of other stuff!). I had to decide – and as I have been quit e happy with my I pad I decided to switch to the software I knew - Apple! I have been with Nokia since high school, and did not want to search in the endless varieties of software on the market. And why do I write about all this?  I would not change my I phone for anything else today! Since I found out, that I may shoot pictures and catch up the moments in my life in a minute, I became a new person. It does not mean I would change my Canon for it – but it is a nice way how to click the shots, even if I do not have my lovely camera with me! I can catch the time anytime I want……big fun!

THE TRADITION - VIENNA BY TRAIN

Few years ago we have decided to take our kids to Vienna – by train, without knowing, what to expect from our trip. Now 3 – 4 years later it became a tradition in my small family. Every first weekend of October we take train to Vienna to spend Saturday just walking in the old town, drinking young wine, eating delicious food and hanging around. We never miss one of my favorite spots in Vienna, which I have been blogging about in the past. The stunning restaurant and coffee house next to the butterfly house. And yes, we have been there again. And what a lovely day it has been this time. Running barefoot in the park, collecting chestnuts (we came back home with probably 13,23 pounds of  real Austrian chestnuts J!) , enjoying the last summer bits and warm weather. What a lovely tradition!

IN MY HOME TOWN......#2

ŽELEZNÁ STUDNIČKA is the place full of trees and greens in Bratislava. Place to chill, have a walk - run – fun - bike with friends, family and kids. We have decided to spend the KIDS day with our girls in this lovely park. Arriving in the late afternoon was a good decision; most of the little visitors have been gone home in this time. One of our friends invited us to join hem and his friends at fish catching.  It turned out to be big fun! We ended the day at the trampolines in the park. I could not imagine a better gift for my girls……

ŽELEZNÁ STUDNIČKA, miesto plné stromov a zelene v Bratislave. Miesto pre oddych, prechádzky, bežcov, cyklistov, malých a veľkých čo si chcú oddýchnuť a zabaviť sa v prírode. Rozhodli sme sa tu tráviť s dievčatami DEŇ DETÍ. Príchod v poobedňajších hodinách bol dobrým rozhodnutím. Väčšina malých návštevníkov v tomto čase už  išla domov. Jeden z našich dobrých priateľov nás pozval na rybačku s priateľmi. Bola to veľká sranda J. Deň sme nakoniec zakončili na trampolínach v parku. Neviem si  predstaviť lepší darček pre moje dievčatká......
